MARCH MUST HAVES

I didn't really buy anything new throughout March but I rediscovered lots of things that I now love! Not going to bother with a long boring intro and just get straight into it!

Estee Lauder is one of those brands that I just trust, I know what I get from them is going to work and their products really suit my skin. There is no denying the fact that it's expensive but you get what you pay for. I use a lot of drugstore skincare for example Garnier and Simple but this is the one product that I have really noticed results with. I'd love to splash out and buy all high end skincare but honestly I don't think you need it and I definitely cannot afford to. I got this in a gift set that's why it's in a blue bottle, it's normally in a white bottle just for reference if you wanted to get it for yourself! After using it my face feels really tight which some people might not like but I love being able to feel that it's really working. I always apply moisturisers after using it and after that I feel fresh and ready to relax and go to sleep.

I'm pretty rubbish when it comes to nails, I love having painted nails but I hate how quickly they chip. Whatever I do by the end of the day they're always ruined. This nail varnish unfortunately isn't magic and they do still chip, however, because it's a really natural coloured varnish and just makes your nails look really healthy you can't really notice if they do start to chip. I only do one coat with this colour because I like it to be natural with a really soft pink rather than looking like I've got loads of nail varnish on. This colour is 10/10 from me and I have been wearing it pretty much everyday throughout March!

I've been using this L'oreal Pure Clay Detox Mask for a couple of months now so I really think it deserves to be in my March must haves. This is probably the best £7.99 I have ever spent, it has lasted so so so long even though it said it would only do about 10 full face masks I must have used it about 30 times now and I do use a generous amount each time. I use this about 2 times a week because it is pretty intense but the results are amazing. Anyone that uses this will already know that it does look disgusting as it starts to dry as it really gets into your pores and cleans them. Horrible to look at but so satisfying seeing it do it's thing. You're meant to leave it on for 5-10 minutes but I leave it on for about 20, this hasn't done me any harm but I would say that first time users should do 5-10 to see how your skin handles it as you don't want to irritate your skin. I don't know if it really makes a difference leaving it on for longer but I like to make sure it is fully dry before taking it off. One thing I would say is that I only put it on my T-zone and not on my cheeks so if you plan to leave it on for longer and put it on your cheeks I would remove it from your cheeks unless that's one of your problem areas. You won't be disappointed with the results!!!!

I have recently started using the Freedom Pro Highlight in Ambient and oh my goodness I love it. As soon as I swatched this highlighter I knew I wanted to get it. Unfortunately they only had the tester in store so I went home to order it. When I went on the Superdrug website I was really shocked to see that it had some bad reviews as I think it's a really pretty and soft colour. It just gives you a really natural glow rather than that extremely highlighted look which is why it had bad reviews as its not extremely gold like a lot of highlighters are. If you've been reading my blog for a while you'll know that I normally use the MUA Undress Your Skin highlighter in Iridescent Gold which is extremely strong in colour which I still really like but more when I'm tanned. It worked really well throughout the Summer months but this Freedom one is so much more wearable for day-to-day. I still use the MUA one in the corner of my eyes as I love the shine it has and makes your eyes pop but for my cheeks and brow bone I prefer the Freedom one as it's much more subtle and gives you a natural healthy glow.

I don't know if you remember me mentioning before about the problem I have been having with my foundation but it was just not sitting right on my nose of cheeks. I went to many Estee Lauder counters (as I use Double Wear) to ask what is doing it as I had never had that problem before. Annoyingly no one really knew and said it could probably just be a change in weather which I refused to believe but actually the past 2 weeks it has been much better. Anyway, because I was having problems with my foundation I was trying different moisturisers, primers and also ways of applying it. I have been using a beauty blender for about 4 months now as I like having a very full coverage but throughout March when trying to solve the problem I started using my Real Techniques buffing brush again. I used to swear by it but I wasn't getting as heavy coverage with it, however, due to entering Spring/Summer I like to let my skin breathe a bit so don't mind a lighter less intense coverage as much.

I have always been a handbag girl and thought I always would be but over the past few months I have fallen in love with backpacks. I now own 3 and I have worn them all to death but this little treasure I have been saving for when the sun started to make an appearance and finally it has! I just think this bag is perfect for Spring/Summer especially with backpacks being so fashionable at the moment. One thing I love about them in general is that it means your hands are free which is amazing but what I love about this one in particular is the fact that it's pink! Who would've thought that at 19 years old it would be acceptable to have a pink backpack?! It's just so cute and looks amazing with denim.

It would be wrong not to include bralets in my March must haves because there has honestly not been anything I have loved more. They're hands down the comfiest things on the planet. It's times like these that I'm happy that I don't have massive boobs because I don't need a massive amount of support but bralets give just enough. Not only are they super comfy but they're so pretty! I think what makes them so pretty is the fact that embroidery is extremely on trend at the moment so it's on pretty much everything. This beauty is from Primark and was only £8 with the matching bottoms at £4 which is an absolute bargain if you ask me. My collection is growing and growing!

My last March must have is more a must watch. I have been absolutely obsessed with 'Clique' which is on BBC 3, There are only 6 episodes and I'm currently on episode 5 so I am so sad that it's going to end soon! I'm not going to give you any details but if you love bitchy girl programmes as well as British dramas like me, you'll love this!

So that's it! That's what I have loved this March, what have you been loving? Let me know!

See you soon, Becky xoxo
