Christmas has to be the most amazing time of the year. Everything becomes that little bit more exciting. I'm lucky to be at university in Birmingham which means as soon as December hits, the amazing German Christmas market arrives. Admittedly it's a bit of a pain if you need to get around quickly in town as it's so busy. However, now it's nearer to Christmas it's all starting to get bit more real I really feel like I shouldn't take it for granted. The atmosphere is incredible! It really doesn't get much more Christmassy. Surrounded by amazing food, Christmas music and so many happy, high spirited people. One of my favourite parts of the market has to be getting my hands on some chocolate truffles. I know you can get truffles all year round but I only ever get them at Christmas so getting some at the market and eating them whilst watching people ice skate really does put me in the perfect Christmas mood. Getting to do it with the people you love makes it that little bit more special.
